Time to move on from Phoenix as the last race.
The NASCAR execs like having Phoenix as the Finale not because of the quality of on-track action. They approve of how the city plays host.
Phoenix is a right-leaning metro that gladly rolls out the red carpet and knows how to wine and dine the well-heeled and affluent individuals who are the decision-makers of the sport.
NASCAR needs to stay in America in my opinion.
I think racing in Canada and Mexico is fine but going completely international like other continents I’d agree isn’t a great move unless an insanely huge market appears in them

Hocevar just won a big Late Model race at Berlin Raceway over Erik Jones, Bubba Pollard and others tonight.
I knew the part that he’s from the same town as Cody Rhodes so I knew that part. And yes I knew it was someone who is active in one of the National Series of NASCAR so it was Heim Time himself Corey Heim.
Haven’t watched this in a while. What happened to the other guy?

Talledega being in the final 8 round is risky but it’ll be fine. Only 8 drivers in that round. What are the odds? And even then accidents can happen in any race
It should be North American Stock Car Auto Racing. It just makes sense
